At HENRŸIA we believe that for the same reasons we choose to ingest organic food, we must be just as demanding with what we apply on our skin. Skin being our largest organ, the wealth of nutrients delivered by skincare is important — especially with molecules small enough to penetrate the epidermis and potentially get absorbed into the bloodstream.

Our eco-beauty products are crafted with 100% organic ingredients, in a certified lab on an organic farm in the south of France. Our process upholds rigorous standards of certification and verification of organic ingredients, sourcing, properties, eco-friendly systems and respect for the environment throughout the entire production production chain.

What are the benefits of aromatherapy in skincare?

The art and science of masterfully blending 100% natural and haute performance essential oils provides the pure essence of the best that nature has to offer. By blending the pure potency of nature with the best in modern science, the result is a powerful natural, effective essential oils line that targets a comprehensive scope of beauty care. Furthermore, aromatherapy promotes a holistic level of wellbeing on the inside, further contributing to beautiful skin on the outside.

Present day understanding of aromatherapy dates back to the early 1900’s when French chemist René Maurice Gattefossé initiated research in the properties of essential oils. Later, French doctor and scientist Jean Valnet continued his work in the mid-twentieth century, and pharmacists, doctors, chemists have since both broadened and advanced the findings of their potency through concrete studies.

Do you test on animals?

No, we do not test any products nor ingredients on animals. As an assurance, all our products are manufactured in France where European cosmetic regulations prohibit animal testing. HENRŸIA Beauté Essentielle is committed to providing compassionate consumers with cruelty-free products and is certified with Leaping Bunny.

What do you do to ensure HENRŸIA is environmentally responsible?

HENRŸIA’s uncompromising commitment to nature include ethical and sustainable practices through the use of organic ingredients, recycled and recyclable/reusable packaging, as well as contribution to programs that reduce the carbon footprint and contribute to the lavender endowment funds as part of climate change awareness initiatives.

Are your products vegan?

HENRŸIA’s Beauté Essentielle face oils are made solely from botanical oils and essential oils extracted from plants, seeds, and flowers. They are 100% vegan.

Are ingredients, such as citral, citronellol, eugenol, farnesol, geraniol, limonene, or linalool natural?

These ingredients are natural constituents of essential oils. They are not added separately but rather comprise an integral part of the potency of the molecules that compose essential oils. Please refer to the Ingredients Benefits section of each product to better understand how these ingredients are involved in the composition of each essential oil and their properties.

What does the “jar” symbol mean?

This symbol depicts an open cosmetic jar with a written number of months (here, 12M, meaning 12 months). It identifies the period-after-opening (PAO) that has been tested by the manufacturing lab to indicate the useful life of the product after opening it for the first time. We recommend properly storing your HENRŸIA beauty care products in a cabinet, away from direct sunlight and from extreme temperature, to protect alteration and preserve the integrity of the ingredients.

What if my skin reacts from using a natural skincare product?

HENRŸIA’s Beauté Essentielle natural skincare products are made from the most haute performance, organic ingredients in the world. As with any food sensitivities or allergies, individuals with intolerance or allergy to an ingredient, whether to a botanical oil or an essential oil component, should not use a product made from such ingredient. 

Please verify the list of ingredients to see if any might be known to you for causing a reaction as you would before eating specific foods. If you have specific questions or concerns regarding the ingredients contained in our beauty care products, it’s recommend that you consult your physician.

What precautions should I take when using a face oil made with essential oils?

HENRŸIA’s Beauté Essentielle products have been formulated with utmost savoir-faire and precision to ensure the highest performance and safety. Tested under dermatological control, our 100% organic face oils are not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women as well as children under six years of age. Do not apply HENRŸIA face oils on broken skin.

How do you preserve your skincare products if you don’t use synthetic preservatives or alcohol?

Our haute performance ingredients, in all of HENRŸIA’s formulations, are selected with the utmost care not only for their therapeutic properties but also for their self-preserving qualities in order to not include synthetic preservatives nor alcohol. The essential oils and plant extracts within the formulations contain a high concentration of native antimicrobial and antioxidant molecules acting as natural preservatives and are scientifically measured to ensure our products are safe.

Similarly, we carefully select combinations of botanical oils with a naturally lower oxidative potential to balance botanical oils with a higher oxidative potential, both to ensure the effectiveness of our products as well as to extend the innate preservative properties of our formulations.

Our products are housed in opaque HENRŸIA’s signature blue glass to protect alteration from light exposure as well as preserve and prolong the integrity of the ingredients.

Where do you source your packaging?

HENRŸIA’s glass bottles are made in Italy, the cradle of ancestral glassmaking. Glass is the most inert material safeguarding content sojourning in direct contact with the interior of a bottle. In addition, the opacity of the HENRŸIA blue glass ensures maximum preservation of our 100% organic ingredients.

The box is made in the south of France, with 100% recycled and recyclable paper. The 100% cotton ribbons are sourced from the Saint-Etienne area in center France, known for being the world capital of ribbon-making, having amassed expertise over centuries with a strong passion for textile excellence.

How do I pronounce HENRŸIA? What does it mean?

It is pronounced ON – RI – YA.

It is derived from the first name of company founder Nathalie Ribon-Tourre’s great grandmother in appreciation for her lifelong beauty, the respect of nature, and value of sustainable agricultural practices transmitted on the same family property for centuries in the south of France.

Could you deliver my order to a PO Box?

HENRŸIA.com will not process any order for which a P.O. Box address has been provided for security reasons.

What shipping options do you offer via HENRŸIA.com?

At HENRŸIA, we are pleased to offer complimentary standard ground shipping on all U.S. orders. We cannot guarantee a date of arrival with our complimentary shipping option and orders usually take two to seven business days to arrive within the continental U.S. once they have been shipped. Our complimentary standard shipping orders are typically processes within one to three business days.

We also offer priority, expedited and overnight shipping options at a fee.

What if the product arrives damaged?

In order to assist you with sending a replacement for items that might arrive broken or damaged, please contact Customer Care as soon as possible.

You will be asked to provide a photo of the broken item(s) and/or package before you will receive the instructions on how to return the damaged merchandise. Regrettably, we are unable to assist outside of our 30-day return/exchange policy timeframe.

What is your return or exchange policy for a product ordered via HENRŸIA.com?

We hope you will be completely satisfied with your purchase from HENRŸIA.com. You may return your purchase for a refund or exchange with our complimentary return label within 30 days of the purchase date, accompanied by the original receipt.

We will provide a refund in the original form of payment, excluding shipping fees which are non-refundable, for any unopened product if returned in the original condition and packaging. We will not be able to issue a refund for opened products but you might qualify for an exchange or credit. Please contact our Customer Care for instructions and we will provide a prepaid return label for your convenience.
